Shocking Revelation: Red Fort Blast Was Part of a Planned Multi-City Explosion Plot

New and deeply disturbing details have emerged in the Red Fort blast case, indicating that the explosion was not an isolated incident but part of a massive, coordinated terror plan targeting multiple Indian cities simultaneously. Investigative agencies now confirm that the attackers aimed to trigger a series of blasts across four cities, posing an unprecedented threat to national security.

Terror Plot Targeted Four Cities at Once

According to NIA investigation details shared by a national news agency, the terror group had planned:

  • Simultaneous explosions in four major cities

  • Eight operatives split into four teams

  • Each team tasked with placing explosives in one city

This chilling blueprint reveals the scale of the intended destruction.

2,600 kg of Explosives Stockpiled in Faridabad

Investigators have discovered that the group stored over 2.6 tonnes of explosives in Faridabad alone.
This staggering quantity indicates:

  • Multiple planned blasts
  • Long-term preparation
  • A network capable of sourcing large volumes of explosive material undetected

It also underscores how catastrophic the outcome could have been if the plan had succeeded.

Explosives Transported Using Second-Hand Cars

The group reportedly attempted to purchase 32 second-hand vehicles to plant explosives across cities.
One such vehicle recovered yesterday from Khandawali tested positive for ammonium nitrate traces.

Investigators believe these vehicles were to be used as mobile IED carriers.

Communication via Encrypted Signal Group

The operatives coordinated exclusively through a dedicated Signal app group, avoiding detection since 2022.
Documents seized from Umar and Muslim’s rooms at Al-Falah University included:

  • Coded notes
  • Phone numbers of associates in Jammu & Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh

  • References to operation dates between November 8–12

These diary entries offer the first concrete glimpse into the structured planning behind the attack.

CCTV Shows Umar at Mosque Minutes Before the Blast

Another crucial piece of evidence emerged: CCTV footage of Umar visiting a mosque near Ramleela Maidan in Old Delhi shortly before the explosion.
He spent nearly 10 minutes there before moving toward the blast site.

This footage has become central to reconstructing his final movements.

Six Doctors Arrested; The Hunt for the Eighth Member Continues

So far:

  • 6 doctors have been arrested
  • Umar, the seventh member, died in the blast
  • The identity of the eighth operative remains unknown

The search for this final member is currently one of the NIA’s top priorities.

Heavy Security and Closed Roads at Red Fort Area

Even now, the blast site near the Red Fort remains sealed:

  • Roads around Netaji Subhash Marg remain closed

  • Traffic to Punjab through this stretch has been restricted

  • Nearby markets, usually crowded, are nearly deserted
  • The entire NCR region remains under heightened alert

Civilians are still visibly anxious as normalcy has not fully returned.

Major Investigation Across Four States

The probe now spans:

  • Delhi

  • Jammu & Kashmir

  • Haryana (Faridabad)

  • Uttar Pradesh

A 10-member NIA team is leading coordinated raids and interrogations across these regions.

Centre Directs NIA to Report Soon

The Union government has instructed the NIA to:
